Mason’s set is full of breaks & electro with a pumping "keep on going" groove and is without a doubt one of the most active dj-sets you have ever seen! Playing live electronic violin while spinning records, this talent creates a vibe which is outstanding. Combining 18 years of violin skills and 9 years of deejaying he turned out to be the latest buzz in the Dutch dance scene. In 2003 Mason received the prestigious award by the commissioner of the Dutch Queen as young most potential Dutch talent in the music industry.

Style His music style is a mixture of breaks & electro blended with some tech-house or progressive. Full of energy he takes the crowd to a climax easily integrating a classical instrument like a violin, while mixing dynamically.

National highlights Since 2001 Mason performed at almost every major festival in Holland like Dance Valley, Extrema Outdoor, Impulz in- and outdoor, Park Pop (500.000 people), Lovefields, Beachbop, Oerol festival and more. Mason played at several events and club nights throughout Holland and did live broadcastings on national Radio 3FM, ID&T Radio and for the infamous VPRO’s 3voor12. In 2003 Mason received the prestigious award by the commissioner of the Dutch Queen as young most potential Dutch talent in the music industry. In 2004 Mason’s popularity raise quickly when he played at Tiësto’s worldtour in Peru, just before WMC 2004. Then Mason got personally invited to play violin in the dj booth at Tiësto in Concert which sold out for 3 nights. 75.000 people concluded that Mason was one of the highlights of the amazing 8 hours concert of DJ Tiësto. In 2005 Mason showed his skills again at the TMF Awards. He finally deejayed with the #1 DJ at Hollands’ biggest event "Queensday Night" at April 29 where Tiësto released his mix album "In Search of Sunrise".

International highlights Mason plays his unique sound all over the world. He is a rising star in Asia, frequently touring through China, Hong Kong, Malaysia, Singapore and Jakarta. But the other side of the world, South America, invited him to perform in Colombia, Salvador, Panama and Peru, where he opened before and closed after #1 of the world dj Tiësto during his South American tour. At New Years Eve 2004 Mason played an unforgettable gig at Godskitchen in Hollywood with DJ Tiësto. In 2005 he played in club SPACE (with Tiësto & Montana) and OPIUM at WMC in Miami and at the German Dance Awards. Besides his violin performance with Tiësto in Disneyland-Paris he also did the official after party. Other countries Mason played includes Finland, Ukraine, Israel, Belgium, Caribbean and many more.

Discography Mason produces several kinds of music. From jazzy tunes and down tempo tracks for tv commercials as well as electro/breaks. He released his first EP "Helikopter" in September 2004. His second record is released April 28th at the new label of Don Diablo, a famous Dutch DJ. Expect an uplifting hit record rawer then Benny Benassi and happier then Mr. Oizo.
