Since the end of 2007 you put more focus on your DJ career and we are very happy about that! It seems that you finally receive the credits you deserve. How come it took that long?
‘”Well I was always more interested in producing. Our first productions were released somewhere around 1995 and when they became successful I felt the need to totally immerse myself in production. I also started to buy more and more records for inspiration, soul funk disco etc and less house records so I put my dj-ing career on ice basically.
Flash Forward to now and the music industry and especially the dance industry have changed drastically. For every artist, making music has become a promotion tool for their live performances. I also felt the need for a new challenge, so spinning was an obvious choice”.

Can you tell us a bit more about the 2 party concepts you promote? Is there and if so what is the essential difference between them what both make them successful on it’s own?
“We started DeepHeat about a year ago out of pure frustration with what was going on in Amsterdam at that time. Or should I say what was NOT going on….hahaha
Together with some friends we decided we wanted a place were we could hear the deep & soulful house records we were listening to. I knew a lot of big name Dj's were buying a much
broader palette of sounds then they could play. So the concept was there very quick. Every month a well known DJ has to put together a set of those beautiful records he never gets to play, with me and timothy watt starting up and ending the night.
We always have very memorable nights and we have some more to come... check out our very special ADE edition!”

Body Movement is a concept for the bigger roo! ms, which we started in Eindhoven. And its all about making people dance again. Instead of putting on 20 dj's on a night we have a regular team of dj's. Each dj has his own unique sound but has his roots firmly in House Music. Jeroenski, Brian S and of course me Greg van Bueren have one mission and that is to see those asses wigglin' ... or the put in the words of Brian S: Hip Shakin' Bone Breakin' Head Poppin' Non Stoppin’!”
